Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Safestay Deals app or website (safestay.co.ke) to convert airtime or Bonga points to M-Pesa cash, or to buy Data, Minutes or SMS bundles. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid M-Pesa account to use Safestay Deals.

How the service works

• You tell us the amount of airtime/points you're converting, or the bundle you want, and the M-Pesa number to receive cash or that will pay for the bundle.
• For airtime/Bonga conversions, you then transfer the airtime or points to the number we provide. Cash is sent to your M-Pesa wallet once we confirm receipt.
• For bundle purchases, you complete an M-Pesa STK push prompt to pay, and the bundle is delivered to the recipient number once payment is confirmed.

Your responsibility for accuracy

You are responsible for entering the correct phone numbers and amounts. Safestay Deals cannot reverse a payout or bundle delivery sent to a number you entered incorrectly. Double-check every number before confirming.

Cashback rates and pricing

Cashback percentages and bundle prices are set by Safestay Deals and may change at any time. The rate shown in the app at the time you submit a conversion is the rate that applies to that transaction.

Payment processing

All M-Pesa payments are processed through Safaricom's official Daraja API. Safestay Deals does not hold your M-Pesa PIN and does not handle physical cash.

Prohibited use

You may not use Safestay Deals for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose, or attempt to convert airtime/points/funds that don't belong to you. We reserve the right to refuse or reverse any transaction we reasonably believe is fraudulent, and to report suspected fraud to Safaricom or the relevant authorities.

Service availability

The service depends on Safaricom's Daraja API and network availability. We're not liable for delays or failures caused by outages outside our control.

Limitation of liability

Safestay Deals's liability for any issue with a transaction is limited to the amount of that transaction. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
